Details
The Full Monty is a heartwarming comedy-drama film that follows the lives of six unemployed steel workers in Sheffield, England. When the factory shuts down, leaving them without jobs and feeling emasculated, they are inspired by the success of the Chippendale's dancers to form their own male striptease act.
Led by Gaz, a charismatic but irresponsible single father, the group includes a mixed bag of characters - Dave, a former foreman struggling with body image issues, Lomper, a shy and troubled young man, Gerald, an older man struggling with depression, Horse, an older Jamaican steel worker, and Guy, a handsome but reserved young man.
Despite their lack of experience and insecurities, the men receive encouragement and support from their wives, female friends, and local residents, urging them to go all the way and bare it all on stage. They set out on a hilarious journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as they prepare for their big performance, all culminating in their ultimate goal of achieving the full monty - total nudity.
