LIKEA is a Swedish satire series set in the world of social media influencers. The story follows Rut, an influencer who recruits her best friend Cajsa to be her new assistant after Cajsa fails to land a job as a journalist. Together, they navigate the ruthless and often deceitful world of FUBE, a media empire run by tyrannical bosses Lukas and Liselotte.
As employees of FUBE, Rut and Cajsa are confronted with impossible demands, false personas, extravagant parties, and lucrative sponsorship deals. They soon realize that behind the glossy facade of their influencer lifestyle lies a reality filled with manipulation and superficiality.
Written and starring Felicia Danielsson and Vera Herngren, LIKEA offers a biting social commentary on the influencer culture and the pressures faced by those trying to succeed in the industry. With its satirical approach, the series provides a humorous but thought-provoking exploration of authenticity in the digital age.
Tackling themes of friendship, identity, and the pursuit of fame, LIKEA is a compelling and entertaining series that exposes the highs and lows of the influencer world. With its relatable characters and sharp wit, viewers are invited to examine their own relationships with social media and question the true meaning of success.
