Arthur is a wealthy playboy who spends his days indulging in booze-fueled adventures and avoiding any form of responsibility. However, his carefree lifestyle is abruptly challenged when his family threatens to cut him off from his massive inheritance unless he marries a woman he despises.
Everything changes when Arthur meets the enchanting Naomi, portrayed by Greta Gerwig, a woman his family strongly disapproves of due to her social status. Despite their disapproval, Arthur finds himself falling deeply in love with Naomi, forcing him to question his priorities and make difficult choices.
As Arthur's affection for Naomi grows, he realizes that true happiness lies beyond the confines of his wealth and family expectations.
