Details
In the Swedish TV series Det sista jag ser (2025–), hip-hop artist Näääk - Matar Samba - experiences a life-altering change when he is diagnosed with an eye disease that causes him to lose almost all of his vision. Despite his desire to continue as normal without assistance, his expanding family and increasing responsibilities force him to confront his pride and vulnerability. As he becomes a father of two, Matar must navigate the growing pressure to adapt to his new reality and accept help from others.
The series chronicles Matar's internal struggle as he grapples with the question of whether he can truly handle everything on his own. Faced with the choice between maintaining his independence and acknowledging his limitations, Matar embarks on a journey towards embracing his need for assistance.
